New Header!

YA!!! We put up a new header for the blog, cute cute cute adnaps!!!!!!! Happy holidays guys! It snowed here, so I've been admiring the Christmas lights, and the blankets of snow on the trees. ADNAP ADNAP!!!!

Coolio, so, not really the subject of adnaps, but Misaki and I are going to the movies!!!! Not about adnaps, so sorry. This Sunday Misaki and I might post together. So sorry I haven't been posting in such a long time. My week's been busy with book reports and stuff, and acky do I hate those. It's just a coincydink that I have two three days apart right after Thanksgiving! Sheesh.
Well anyway, Happy Thanksgiving! I will be out of town to visit O bāchan and ojīchan. So this will probably be my own last post before Thanksgiving week. I'll make a note to tell Misaki to post too...

Giant pandas Mei Xiang and Tian Tian are at the National Zoo on a ten-year loan from the China Wildlife Conservation Association. They are the focus of an ambitious research, conservation, and breeding program designed to preserve this endangered species.

A dog named 'Columbo', a cross-breed between a poodle and a Maltese and dyed to look like a panda, sits on a chair in Tokyo November 30, 2005. The owner dyed the originally white coloured dog, with a special hair dye to cover up stains around its eyes which was conspicuous when he was first found abandoned. As a result, the panda look-alike became the most popular dog in the neighborhood and the owner said he hopes Columbo's popularity will help rescue other abandoned dogs like Columbo, where in Tokyo last year, 700 of them were put to sleep.

Pandas After the Earthquake in China

The earthquake was right in the area where giant pandas live. Most pandas in this area were rescued, particular attention was given to the babies, all the pandas were scared. The photos were taken right after earthquake and during rescue effort care. All the pandas were released back into the wild and it was noted that all of the bears stayed together.
